Moore Colson, a top-ranked CPA and consulting firm in Atlanta, is seeking a Tax Director to oversee complex tax engagements and manage client relationships while contributing to strategic tax planning across diverse industries.

In Short

• Review and approve complex tax returns and audits
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Lead tax research and planning initiatives
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and clients
• Supervise and mentor tax team members
• Collaborate with audit teams on large client engagements

Requirements

• CPA license required
• 8+ years in public accounting with increasing responsibility
• Experience representing clients before tax authorities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx) preferred
• Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
