FIU Transaction Monitoring Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) at MoonPay is dedicated to safeguarding the platform against financial crime and money laundering. The FIU Transaction Monitoring Analyst will support the team in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while conducting transaction monitoring reviews to detect potential illicit activities.

In Short

• Analyze transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics solutions.
• Review blockchain wallet screenings and KYT alerts.
• Conduct open source searches related to customer activities.
• Prepare clear dispositions of potential suspicious activities.
• Draft Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Discuss unusual findings with relevant team leads and compliance heads.
• Ensure timely completion of alerts and investigations.
• Work within the FIU and collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams.
• Engage in financial crime investigations on a daily basis.
• Support the overall mission of safeguarding MoonPay against financial crime.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Financial Crime/Compliance roles.
• ACAMS / ACFCS or ICA accreditation preferred.
• Experience with blockchain analytics solutions such as Chainalysis.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts.
• Fluency in English is required.
