QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

The QA Engineer at Moog will be responsible for ensuring quality engineering functions from proposal to final product delivery, working in a collaborative environment focused on aerospace and defense.

In Short

• Responsible for quality engineering functions throughout product lifecycle.
• Manage suppliers and support product design and testing.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare End Item Data Package (EIDP) reports.
• Implement proactive quality methodologies.
• Monitor quality performance data and guide improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments for performance enhancement.
• Manage non-conformance documentation and analysis.
• Support operational/manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace or Defense.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality System.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in electronics lab environment.
• Knowledge of ESD protocols.
• Experience with non-conformance handling.
• Capability to work under changing priorities.
