Monks is looking for a Content Strategist to join our Detroit team, working with an iconic automotive brand and helping in creating ground-breaking work, defining the business, creative, future vision and growth for the account.

In Short

  • Support strategy directors in developing content strategies based on the client's brand objectives.
  • Provide hands-on project work, briefs, strategic POV and recommendations.
  • Learn to blend content, brand, product, channel and comms planning.
  • Partner closely with account, creative, social and operations teams.
  • Approach all work with a data and culture mindset.
  • Provide thought leadership on content marketing vision and best practices.
  • Have a contagious passion for our business and the creative industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, from creative or in-house agencies.
  • Strong and recent experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing and content ecosystems.
  • Experience in developing content and communications journeys.
  • Talent to clearly articulate recommendations through storytelling.
  • Expertise on understanding audiences and their behavior.
  • Analytic skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Proficiency in industry research and data tools.
  • Natural ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
