Junior Accountant - Remote

Overview

monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Junior Accountant to join our expanding global Finance department!

In Short

• Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close
• Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
• Assist with customer invoicing, receipt and collection recording and mobile deposits.
• Manage Accounts Payable process including but not limited to vendor onboarding, bill entry, vendor payments, preparing payment reports, ensuring there are proper POs for all bills and liaising with vendor as necessary.
• Monitor corporate credit cards and own creating new virtual card for special events or new employees.
• Assist with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Ad-hoc reporting as required

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience, Public Company/SaaS experience is a plus
• Conversational knowledge of Portuguese a plus
• Prior experience with NetSuite
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
• Highly detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organization and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills
