Senior/Staff Product Designer - Remote

Overview

Monarch is looking for a Senior/Staff Product Designer who is passionate about crafting high-quality user experiences and elevating the design of personal finance tools. In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time designing and iterating on new features within the product.

In Short

• Own end-to-end product design, ensuring a high bar for UI/UX through detailed execution in Figma.
• Occasionally conduct UX research with customers, test prototypes, and refine designs based on insights.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs.
• Get up to speed with Monarch’s design system and take ownership of new product design projects.
• Drive UX research when needed.
• 4+ years in product design at a consumer-focused company.
• Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working closely with founders, product managers, and engineers.
• Experience designing for 0-to-1 projects or consumer mobile apps is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React is a bonus.
