• Lead and mentor a team of engineers while remaining hands-on with code and architecture.
• Drive technical strategy and execution for growth initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, marketers and data analysts.
• Design and implement infrastructure to support A/B testing and rapid experimentation.
• Analyze data and user behavior to inform technical decisions and refine growth strategies.
• Develop technical roadmaps and guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Balance technical debt with feature development to ensure sustainable growth.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring to build a diverse and talented growth engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
• Technical vision and ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals.
• Strong product intuition and a passion for building consumer experiences.
• Experience designing and implementing A/B testing frameworks.
• Bias towards action with good instinct for experiment rigor.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical colleagues.
• (Nice to have) Experience building consumer subscription products.
• (Nice to have) Experience with fintech.
• (Nice to have) Experience with analytics tooling.
