Overview

The Provider Contract Negotiator is responsible for negotiating national agreements with healthcare providers to ensure high quality and cost-effective services.

In Short

  • Negotiate high priority physician group and facility contracts.
  • Develop and maintain provider contracts using APTTUS software.
  • Target and recruit additional providers to improve member access.
  • Engage providers in renegotiation of rates and contract language.
  • Maintain relationships with significant providers.
  • Advise on negotiation of individual provider contracts.
  • Evaluate provider network and implement strategic plans.
  • Assess contract language for compliance with standards.
  • Participate in fee schedule determinations and reimbursement models.
  • Educate internal customers on provider contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
