In Short

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Work closely with data foundation teams to enable effective data usage across the organization.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure data architectures.
• Occasionally dive into coding and implementation as needed.
• Extensive experience in a senior engineering role, focusing on data platforms.
• Proven experience in designing scalable data solutions using AWS.
• Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, transformation, and governance.
• Ability to manage relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations like GDPR.
• Strong software engineering skills using languages like Python, Typescript, Kotlin, or Scala.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
• Experience in a senior engineering role.
• Cloud experience, particularly with AWS.
• Strong data experience and knowledge of data governance.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Legal and regulatory knowledge around data handling.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Typescript, Kotlin, or Scala.
