Overview

The Claims Specialist II position at Modivcare is focused on providing exceptional customer service and managing claims submitted by drivers. The role involves reviewing and processing claims, ensuring accuracy, and addressing inquiries related to claim status and discrepancies.

In Short

  • Responsible for inbound claims processing and customer service.
  • Review and manage claims submitted by drivers.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of claims documentation.
  • Address inquiries from drivers regarding claim status.
  • Enter claim information into the processing system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Maintain departmental policies and deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone.
  • Report suspected fraudulent claims.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1+ years of experience in data or claim processing.
  • Strong attention to detail with proficient data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address claim issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
