Overview

The Government Pricing Associate Director is accountable for the service provided to multiple pharmaceutical companies to ensure timely and accurate calculation of government prices utilized for federal drug reimbursement. The Government Pricing Associate Director is a government pricing subject matter expert that other operations team members may query and receive advice and guidance with questions in their area of expertise.

In Short

  • Manage ongoing client relationships (interface w/ clients to resolve specific issues)
  • Review and approve all client billings.
  • Calculate and file appropriate prices for the federal drug programs.
  • Handle complex Government Pricing concepts such as bundles and discount reallocation.
  • Lead, review and approve price calculation reporting with client.
  • Oversee analysis and review of monthly and quarterly source data reconciliation.
  • Maintain valid customer Class of Trades assignments.
  • Ensure 340B/PHS prices are calculated and maintained per federal regulation.
  • Lead client price calculation and/or restatement efforts.
  • Mentor and develop government program team of Consultants and Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or applicable business experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in a mandated deadline environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High accuracy rate and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel techniques.
  • Able to manage multiple and competing tasks.
  • Experience achieving compliance with regulatory and operational rules.
