Overview

As a Data Engineer on the Data team at MNTN, you will help build the platform to generate, track, and manage key business and client success metrics, aiming for rapid insights across all available information.

In Short

Become the expert on MNTN ad buying platforms and data infrastructure.
Extract meaningful business insights from data using SQL and other tools.
Create and manage ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation.
Organize data for measurable confidence in ad buying and client performance.
Organize visualizations, reporting, and alerting for performance insights.
Investigate incidents and ensure resolution by relevant parties.

Requirements

2-4+ years of experience in data engineering, analysis, and modeling.
Strong experience in SQL and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies and ETL flows.
Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Spark or Databricks.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java/Kotlin.
Familiarity with algorithms and systems concepts.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and Airflow.
Experience in cloud computing environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong communication skills for technical topics.
