Security Manager (NISP) - TS/SCI - Hybrid - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Security Manager to support multiple clients, primarily in Lexington Park, MD. This is a full-time, immediate-hire position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

In Short

• Manage and oversee security operations in compliance with regulations.
• Serve as the FSO / ITPSO / CPSO.
• Maintain security accounts within various security systems.
• Develop and implement security policies and training programs.
• Conduct security inspections and audits.
• Provide security briefings and training to personnel.
• Oversee insider threat programs and cyber awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate reporting of security incidents.
• Support DCSA and IC security operations.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Top Secret Personnel Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an FSO / CPSO.
• Strong knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and NISS security systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Completion of FSO Curriculum for Possessing Facilities.
• Working knowledge of federal security laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities.
• Ability to effectively resolve security-related issues.
