Summer 2025 Teaching Assistant - Remote

Overview

As a Teaching Assistant for our Intro to Web Design class, you’ll promote a welcoming and supportive class community, foster productive collaboration, track student progress, and help students realize their potential.

In Short

• Remote position for Summer 2025, approximately 16 hours per week.
• Community building, classroom management, and student support are key responsibilities.
• Training for instructional staff will be provided.
• Classes held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
• Weekly meetings with the instructional team via Zoom.
• Focus on fostering a positive classroom culture.
• Encouragement for bilingual candidates, especially in Spanish.
• Involvement in planning and leading community-building activities.
• Collaboration with lead instructors and staff.
• Support students in showcasing their capstone projects.

Requirements

• Passion for community, social justice, and coding.
