Senior Manual QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

Our customer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join their quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing processes, vast experience in API testing, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

In Short

• 6 years of experience in API testing (manual & automation is a plus)
• Experience with testing tools like Postman, DevTools, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Swagger
• Hands-on experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured, Cypress, or Playwright
• Proven experience creating and executing test cases and logging defects
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, API, and UAT)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Requirements

• Perform Functional and non-functional testing
• Develop, update, and maintain test cases and test plans
• Work closely with developers and product managers to define testing strategies
• Investigate and report issues, ensuring timely resolutions
• Contribute to the development of API testing frameworks
• Manage multiple tasks effectively
