Overview

Mikva Challenge is seeking a Youth Council Coordinator who is passionate about youth civic leadership to join our team. The Youth Council Coordinator supports Mikva Challenge's Citywide Youth Councils (CYC) and Youth Organizing Academy (YOA).

In Short

• Support Citywide Youth Councils and Youth Organizing Academy.
• Provide administrative and programmatic support.
• Maintain program logistics and documentation.
• Co-facilitate Council meetings.
• Coordinate research and work sessions.
• Communicate with youth, parents, and stakeholders.
• Recruit and interview youth participants.
• Lead onboarding processes for youth.
• Assist with communication and evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff to support youth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in youth programming or advocacy.
• Experienced in Google Workspaces, Zoom, and social media.
• Strong public speaking and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
