In Short

• Design and implement a comprehensive monitoring strategy for a high-availability application.
• Build and maintain observability infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
• Collaborate with application engineers working on TypeScript/JavaScript services.
• Establish reliability standards and incident response practices.
• Lead and mentor a technical team in high-pressure situations.
• Communicate reliability posture to government stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience, particularly in SRE or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with AWS observability tools and services.
• Experience with APM and monitoring platforms like New Relic.
• Ability to work with TypeScript/JavaScript codebases.
• Experience with PII processing and security practices.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
