Structural Associate - Remote

Overview

The position involves analyzing design criteria and applicable codes, preparing calculations for structural engineering construction drawings and specifications for various projects.

In Short

• Prepare moderately complex studies and construction documents.
• Interpret data and prepare drawings for projects.
• Provide engineering support to the Designer of Record.
• Follow project standards and protocols.
• Review construction submittals and respond to RFIs.
• High proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Teams.
• Communicate with Senior Engineers and Project Managers.
• Assist with proposal production and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training activities.
• Occasionally visit project sites to document findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• EIT Required.
• 0-4 years of experience required.
