Senior Project Manager II, Water/Wastewater - Remote

Overview

Michael Baker is actively seeking senior water/wastewater/stormwater Project Managers for our Virginia Beach and Manassas, Virginia locations. We provide a flexible work environment with a balance mix of office, home and field work.

In Short

• Manage water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Assist in planning studies and preliminary engineering efforts.
• Prepare design calculations and engineering drawings.
• Conduct technical evaluations and research products.
• Participate in field visits and investigations.
• Support construction efforts by reviewing shop drawings.
• Assist in managing contractors and subconsultants.
• Communicate effectively with project teams.
• Work with senior Project Engineers and Managers.
• Develop engineering reports and technical memoranda.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater/stormwater systems.
• Virginia PE license required or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Open Roads is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Self-starter and versatile.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience in client meetings and presentations.
