Overview

The Referral Specialist at Mount Carmel is responsible for coordinating and securing referrals, authorizations, and verifying patient information in a fully remote environment.

In Short

• Coordinate and maintain outpatient referrals and authorizations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures preferred.
• Understanding of third party payer systems and pre-authorization requirements preferred.
