Mid-level Software Engineer - Remote

At Metrum Research Group, you’ll get a chance to work with product stakeholders to implement solutions within the REST API and gRPC services and various react based frontends.

In Short

• To work with the product team and seniors to arrange features into workloads consumable by the team
• To work with a minimal footprint microservice architecture
• To work on several APIs (REST / gRPC) at varying layers of access
• The option to work on the associated UIs
• Exposure to the OIDC (Auth2) / SAML identity standards
• Exposure to Cloudformation and Terraform

Requirements

• Have a solid understanding of golang
• Have a solid understanding of testing
• How to test in go
• The various layers of testing
• Have a solid understanding of REST
• Have experience building / managing database schemas
• Have some understanding of modern identity standards (OIDC / SAML)
• Have some exposure with a cloud provider (AWS [Preferred], Azure, GCP etc)
