Deployment Engineer, Cellular - Remote

Meter builds the infrastructure modern businesses depend on to stay connected. On the Cellular team, we design and deploy multi-operator in-building cellular that just works—integrated with Meter’s hardware, software, and managed service model.

Meter’s Cellular team is scaling from a handful of deployments to hundreds—expanding to hundreds of millions of square feet. We need a Deployment Engineer who can turn designs into on-air, carrier-accepted deployments—owning provisioning, integration, troubleshooting, and go-live at scale.

In Short

• Keep pace with new deployments while sustaining a high bar for quality.
• Roll out v1 playbooks and vendor scorecards for repeatable deployments.
• Spin up tools and dashboards to flag post-live issues early.
• Identify problems hindering quick scaling and implement fixes.
• Be the point person from rack/stack through go-live.
• Push software/licenses and configure basebands/RUs.
• Analyze logs and confirm KPIs while coordinating issues.
• Validate test call flows for E911 readiness.
• Triage alarms and guide onsite techs during troubleshooting.
• Assemble carrier-ready packages for close-out.

Requirements

• Remote-first integrator with experience in indoor small-cell systems.
• Proficient troubleshooter with the ability to dig through logs.
• Knowledgeable about carrier acceptance requirements.
• Ability to improve processes and standards from each site.
• Skilled in sequencing work and escalating issues effectively.
