Public Policy Content Developer (Remote)

Overview

Mercor is seeking native Brazilian Portuguese speakers who are also government or public policy professionals based in Brazil. This role combines your public policy expertise with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the public policy domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks for AI training.
• Write fluently in both Portuguese and English.
• Provide cultural and policy insights unique to Brazil.
• Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Work remotely and asynchronously on your own schedule.
• Contribute at least 20 hours per week for around 2 months.
• Engage in a structured project environment with clear goals.
• Submit a resume and complete AI-led interviews.
• Participate in a paid work trial to assess fit.
• Receive feedback and onboarding after selection.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and strong English skills.
• Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or similar field.
• 2–6+ years of experience in politics or public policy.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in policy writing or academic publishing is preferred.
• Experience with grading or instructional design is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI models is a bonus.
