Public Policy Content Developer (Remote)

Overview

Mercor is seeking native German speakers who are also government or public policy professionals based in Germany. This role combines your public policy expertise with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the public policy domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks for AI training.
• Write fluently in both German and English.
• Provide cultural and policy insights unique to Germany.
• Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Work remotely and asynchronously on your own schedule.
• Contribute at least 20 hours per week for around 2 months.
• Experience in politics, public policy, or think tanks is required.
• Degree in policy, political science, or a similar field is required.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with instructional design or AI concepts is a plus.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in German and strong written and spoken English.
• 2–6+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Ability to work in a structured project environment.
• Commitment to at least 20 hours per week.
