Overview

The Financial Planner II at Mercer Advisors will play a crucial role in preparing comprehensive financial plans for clients, utilizing various financial planning tools and collaborating with advisors to enhance client experiences.

In Short

• Prepare financial plans for prospective and existing clients.
• Work with sales and advisors to gather and process data.
• Fluency with financial planning tools (e.g., eMoney, Morningstar).
• Partner with advisor teams for a seamless client experience.
• Use analytical skills to uncover clients' needs.
• Collaborate with Family Wealth Services for client strategies.
• Stay current on financial planning topics.
• Co-present financial planning concepts with advisors.
• Assist in improving efficiency and client experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning or related field.
• Educational requirements to sit for CFP® exam or relevant certification.
• 3 years of client-facing financial planning experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and financial planning software.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
• Must be flexible and confidential.
• Ability to travel up to 20% required.
