Overview

As a CloudOps Engineer at Mercedes-Benz.io, you will be responsible for operating and continuously improving Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms on AWS, ensuring reliability and scalability while supporting development teams.

In Short

Operate and improve Docker and Kubernetes platforms on AWS.
Ensure reliable and scalable Kubernetes environments.
Automate operations using Python and Bash.
Provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Support development teams with application onboarding.
Monitor platform health using observability tools.
Collaborate with developers and security teams.
Contribute to cloud cost optimization initiatives.
Document platform processes and improvements.

Requirements

Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
Automation skills with Python or Bash.
Familiarity with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid Linux and networking knowledge.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Agile team experience using Scrum or Kanban.
