Cloud Ops Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Cloud Ops Engineer will support Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux/Windows environments, responsible for all aspects of the production lifecycle including maintenance and administration.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS solutions and infrastructure.
• Develop tooling and processes to automate deployment of SaaS applications.
• Perform PostgreSQL and Oracle database administration.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure product success.
• Engage in Agile team practices.
• Coordinate configuration changes and upgrades.
• Participate in capacity planning for infrastructure needs.
• Maintain availability and performance of production services.
• Implement monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Document all processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-5 years of system administration experience in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, and more.
• 2 years of experience with CI/CD technologies.
• Experience with database management and administration.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with web servers like Apache and Nginx.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Understanding of security best practices and networking concepts.
