Overview

The Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist evaluates, analyzes, and coordinates all aspects of the credentialing and recredentialing processes of clinical providers and clinics with participating health insurance plans.

• Enroll with health plans and complete enrollment applications.
• Deep understanding of health plans including CAQH, Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial Plans.
• Maintain data accuracy in credentialing database.
• Monitor files for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate with providers and medical staff leadership.
• Maintain current records of provider and credentialing data.
• Adapt to changes in regulations and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing.
• Strong knowledge of Federally qualified health centers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• High level of accuracy and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to adapt to changes in industry trends.
