Overview

As an Android Engineer at MediaLab, you will be responsible for the development of key applications, contributing to a talented team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions.

In Short

• Own the end-to-end development, testing, and maintenance of WorldStar HipHop and Amino Apps.
• Deliver reliable software through code reviews and best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, optimizing performance and user experience.
• Document technical details and contribute to long-term application planning.
• Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality, maintainable code.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver features on time and to specification.
• Advocate for emerging technologies and refine best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of native Android development experience.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Solid understanding of Android tools (SDK, Studio, Gradle).
• Good understanding of libraries (Jetpack, Compose, Retrofit, Firebase).
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about writing clean, production-ready code.
• At least one application built and in the Play Store.
