Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Meadowhawk Biolabs is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Accountant to work within our hybrid (partial remote) Finance Team to perform accounting activities in a fast-paced team environment.

In Short

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Assist with budget and audit preparations.
• Research and resolve accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Develop and document business processes.
• Provide guidance to junior staff.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Experience with Quickbooks, Zoho, or Netsuite is a plus.
• Experience in Biotech or CRO is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and dependability.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
