Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating provider phone calls related to pre-treatment review status and Case Management call coordination, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to all inquiries.

In Short

  • Answer phone calls regarding pre-treatment review and Case Management services.
  • Provide clear and accurate responses to information requests.
  • Document all calls in the Case Management platform.
  • Return messages left in designated voice mailboxes.
  • Follow up with callers for accurate information.
  • Initiate referrals for Case Management when appropriate.
  • Promote the use of external self-service tools.
  • Assist in managing the incoming fax queue.
  • Meet or exceed company standards for production and quality.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Basic computer and customer service skills required.
  • Medical terminology and coding experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to software changes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Ability to organize and recall detailed information.
  • Ability to read and interpret insurance documents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
