Remote Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist

Overview

The Remote Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation for the patient billing process, educating colleagues and providers, and maintaining charge capture processes.

In Short

• Ensure accurate CPT and ICD-10 documentation for billing.
• Educate staff on proper documentation practices.
• Perform regular reviews of charge capture processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on system changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Healthcare or related field.
• Minimum three years of coding and charge control experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical coding and billing processes.
• Licensure/certification in coding (RHIA, RHIT, etc.).
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of billing and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable in a collaborative work environment.
