Overview

The Cloud Cybersecurity Artifact Collector role involves assessing and verifying the security and compliance posture of cloud-hosted systems, focusing on auditing cybersecurity controls and validating compliance with federal frameworks.

In Short

  • Full-time remote position supporting the US Coast Guard.
  • Conduct independent audits and assessments of cloud systems.
  • Evaluate security controls and cloud configurations.
  • Analyze system security documentation for completeness.
  • Conduct security control assessments and penetration testing reviews.
  • Lead or support compliance audits and inspections.
  • Provide findings and risk analysis to stakeholders.
  • Track and report on compliance metrics and vulnerabilities.
  • Use eMASS for tracking RMF packages.
  • Collaborate with ISSOs and system owners for audit readiness.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST standards.
  • Hands-on experience with security assessments and audit findings.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools like Tenable and Microsoft Defender.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (desired).
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-500, SC-900) (desired).
  • Experience using eMASS and RegScale for compliance tracking (desired).
