Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support both our Amherst and Northampton office onsite, providing comprehensive care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

In Short

• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week
• Schedule: 4, 10-hour days, Monday to Friday
• Assist during office visits and maintain patient care areas
• Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures essential
• Experience in a medical setting preferred
• BLS certification and National Medical Assistant certification preferred

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred
• 1-2 years direct experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Ability to take vital signs and collect specimens
• Proficiency in EHR systems and medical office software
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Comply with privacy and confidentiality regulations
• Experience giving vaccines is preferred
• Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT strongly preferred
