Director of Retail Strategy - Remote

Overview

The Director of Retail Strategy is responsible for developing and delivering strategic and innovative product and informational solutions to prospective customers in the Retail and Foodservice Industry, establishing trusting relationships with purchasing agents, operators, and industry executives.

• Develop and execute strategies for profitable sales growth in Retail and Foodservice.

• Work with operations on production forecasting and logistics.
• Assist business teams with margin management and procurement.
• Coordinate with R&D for new product launches aligned with customer plans.
• Oversee account success and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in National Account sales.
• Effective leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound background in meat science knowledge including carcass composition and quality.
• Adequate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to perform the job's requirements including lifting up to 25 pounds.
