Overview

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Compensation and Benefits Manager to partner with the VP of HR in designing and scaling MARA's total rewards program. This role is instrumental in developing compensation structures, optimizing benefits offerings, supporting payroll accuracy, and ensuring compliance as we continue to grow.

In Short

  • Oversee all employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and wellness offerings.
  • Evaluate and enhance benefits offerings to support employee well-being.
  • Serve as primary liaison with benefits brokers and vendors.
  • Lead annual open enrollment planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain job leveling frameworks and compensation bands.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking and analysis.
  • Lead configuration and optimization of Workday for HR processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR leadership on workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of total rewards best practices and HR compliance.
  • Proficient user of Workday for HRIS/payroll/benefits administration.
  • Experience in team leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience supporting DEI initiatives is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
