• Design and implement scalable services for API and routing engine tiers.
• Improve services for data consumption and storage of routing data.
• Drive design, development, and testing of Mapbox tools.

• Participate in end-to-end feature implementation and code reviews.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering web services in Rust or Typescript (Node.js).
• Experience building API services within container-based environments.
• Proficiency in monitoring instrumentation and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of operating systems and distributed systems.
• Ability to design long-term technical strategies.
• Experience driving high-visibility initiatives for engineering standards.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Interest in solving geo-spatial problems.
