Strategic Sourcing Analyst II - Remote

Overview

Works with business and support units to understand needs, formulate strategies, and source suitable suppliers at the best price to meet requirements. Carries out the Strategic Sourcing process designed to maximize competition and leverage when selecting and contracting with chosen suppliers.

In Short

• Identify Executive Sponsor and project team for sourcing initiatives.
• Guide Project Team through Strategic Sourcing process.
• Develop and execute RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors.
• Prepare documentation for recommendations and results.
• Ensure vendors are vetted and approved per risk management standards.
• Research procurement trends and recommend savings opportunities.
• Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of financial/business experience.
• Proficiency with procurement software and personal computers.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with RFP writing and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
