Business Risk Partner - Stablecoin - Remote

Overview

Manage the first line of defense stablecoin, embedded banking, and digital asset risk management responsibilities specific to applications across the Commercial and Investment Banking businesses in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Framework.

In Short

• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of the business unit's first line of defense risk management function.
• Ensure proper identification and assessment of risks in key processes.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions to the New York State Department of Financial Services.
• Drive the development and reporting of the risk-based testing program.
• Monitor business unit performance with respect to established key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Ensure timely completion of Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs).
• Identify emerging risks associated with new products and services.
• Develop and oversee policies for the business unit.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff.
• Build working relationships with business unit management and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience.
• Experience in BSA/AML risk, liquidity risk, and cyber risk preferred.
