Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer at MANSCAPED®, you will be instrumental in leading, implementing, and managing technical integrations across our business, particularly with third-party vendors and backend systems.

• Develop and maintain custom integrations between Shopify and third-party services.
• Enhance and optimize our custom subscription engine.
• Design algorithms and workflows for new platform features.

• 5+ years of experience in backend development required.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing production-quality code.
• Expertise in backend architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong background in event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React and NestJS.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for technical concepts.
