Finance Manager - Angola - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team and help us establish a successful trading operation for FX in Angola. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the trading desk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing risk exposure and facilitating smooth and timely settlements of transactions.

In Short

• Setup and manage the daily, monthly & year end accounts.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the trading desk (middle / back office).
• Ensure compliance with local policies and guidelines on FX transactions.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage the settlement process for FX transactions.
• Liaise with banks and payment service providers.
• Manage risk exposure of the trading desk.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Train and supervise staff on operational processes.
• Stay updated on FX and securities market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in FX trading or payments operations.
• Knowledge of the Angola FX banking regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in using trading platforms and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
