Overview

APM Terminals is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Equipment Technician – Electrical to maintain and repair our fleet of Mobile Harbor Cranes and other terminal equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operations.

In Short

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on cranes and terminal equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems for quick resolution of breakdowns.
• Work closely with the Crane Supervisor on maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
• Assist in recovering equipment involved in incidents with proper rigging.
• Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
• Experience in electrical maintenance of heavy mobile equipment is required.
• Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety practices is preferred.
• Positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Requirements

• Technical/vocational qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Mobile Harbor Cranes or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of rigging procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
