Terminal Planner - Remote

Overview

The Terminal Planner at APM Terminals is responsible for ensuring efficient planning of vessel and yard operations to achieve productivity and capacity targets.

In Short

• Oversee cargo control process and vessel planning.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and communicate load/discharge sequences for vessel operations.
• Implement yard strategy and maintain yard inventory accuracy.
• Provide contingency plans during operational exceptions.
• Collaborate with planning teams to optimize yard performance.
• Support operational goals through participation in the Integrated Operations Centre.
• Requires a Master or Engineering degree in relevant fields.
• At least a year of experience in a similar field.
• Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills required.

Requirements

• Master or Engineering degree in IT, mechanical, automation, civil, industrial, statistics, or business administration.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• High level of planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain quality of work under pressure.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good analytical skills for problem-solving.
