Planner - Remote

Overview

An established Planner is needed to join Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK, responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting project schedules while assisting the senior planner.

In Short

• Prepare and review project schedules.
• Assist the senior planner in creating detailed schedules.
• Maintain planning control structures according to the Work Breakdown Structure.
• Monitor project progress and prepare necessary reports.
• Work in a hybrid arrangement based out of Glasgow.
• Travel to site(s) as required.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera 6 is essential.
• Strong project management skills are required.
• Ideal for planners from a construction or project delivery consultancy background.

• Working knowledge of contracts and commercial project management.
• Proven experience in risk management processes.
• Familiarity with software scheduling tools.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driving license.
