Solar Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Solar Project Manager will oversee a large portfolio of commercial solar sites, ensuring effective asset management, site safety, and performance optimization.

In Short

• Manage 150–300 commercial solar sites.
• Ensure 100% controllable Weather Adjusted Production.
• Maintain site safety and prevent thermal events.
• Keep maintenance spend under budget.
• Conduct site visits and oversee major remediations.
• Serve as a point of contact for tenants and site contacts.
• Review preventative maintenance reports.
• Track warranties and site history.
• Approve invoices and manage data in Salesforce.
• Be on-call for emergencies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience with C&I solar components.
• 4+ years of solar project management experience.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and diagnose issues.
• Experience with electrical testing (megger, IR).
• Strong understanding of OSHA and NFPA70E standards.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Competency with software tools like Outlook, Excel, and Zoom.
• Live in-region with knowledge of local regulations.
• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
