Solutions/Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position provides junior software engineering support to the AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Program Office’s Requirements (XR) group at Robins AFB, GA. The successful candidate will work with a team of senior engineers and architects to analyze portfolio requirements and identify solutions for incoming user requirements for the DCGS portfolio.

• Create conceptual designs and document traceability matrices.
• Draft technical reports and documentation.
• Perform dependency mapping and research on complex information systems.
• Assist in defining user requirements and high-level design solutions.
• Evaluate capabilities and architecture for Zero Trust implementation.
• Research advanced engineering methods for IT systems.
• Collaborate with teams to drive integration with advanced technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
• 0-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering or requirements management.
• Knowledge of systems engineering concepts.
• Ability to assist in applying advanced engineering methods.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI Security clearance.
• Experience with the DCGS portfolio is a plus.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work with minimal management oversight.
