Billing Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Billing Analyst is responsible for managing billing and transactions with customers, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies to maximize customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Complete upgrades and downgrades to customer accounts through internal CRM and Billing systems.
• Maintain accurate billing records by communicating with customers about billing changes.
• Resolve telephone and email inquiries from customers and process new orders.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
• Complete month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process monthly billing payments and maintain billing files.
• Prioritize and schedule work activities to achieve targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience with billing and accounting functions.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Some experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to tackle issues with urgency while maintaining professionalism.
