Full-Stack Web Developer - Digital Health Startup - Remote

In Short

• Develop and maintain our web platform (TypeScript, Next.js/React, PostgreSQL)
• Actively participate in technical decisions and improvements
• Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Ansible, and monitoring alerts
• Implement web and data security measures (TLS, OAuth2/JWT, encryption concepts)
• Continuously optimize UX in close coordination with the team and real users
• Establish development processes and standards for effective collaboration
• Test and fix bugs in the front and backend, as well as solve issues in the production system
• Coordinate, collaborate, and ensure quality with external service providers and freelancers

Requirements

• Holistic product understanding and enjoyment in connecting tech, business, and UX
• Initial to solid practical experience with TypeScript, Next.js/React, Node.js, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Basic understanding of DevOps principles (Containers, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code)
• Curiosity and basic knowledge in information security (GDPR, Web Security, Data Encryption, Authentication Protocols)
• Proficient use of version control tools like GitHub
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• High degree of independence and initiative
• Good knowledge of German and English
