Cyber Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

LTS is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Portfolio.

In Short

• Support cybersecurity efforts across multiple projects.
• Communicate on matters related to system security certification & accreditation.
• Coordinate security and privacy activities within project teams.
• Review system/application security controls.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the program.
• Experience in a remote work environment.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.
• Participate in IT modernization and security architecture projects.
• Support application development and IT operations using Agile practices.
• Engage with other cybersecurity professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields plus 5 years of experience.
• U.S citizenship required.
• Experience with FISMA, NIST-800-53, HIPAA.
• Experience achieving an ATO for projects within the VA.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Security+ or other applicable certification.
• Analytical and investigation skills.
• Experience with the VA Risk and Governance Tool.
• Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment.
