Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Science - Remote

Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager will help drive Data Science strategy decisions, communicate work throughout the company, and work closely with the Data Science Engineering Manager.

In Short

• Own the strategy of leveraging data science across the organization to meet company objectives
• Define short and long term product roadmap, owning processes for intake, prioritization, update, reporting
• Drive collaborative, cross-team product development with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Define and implement analytics to drive a data driven decision making process
• Set ambitious goals, tracking and reporting progress
• Define key metrics to track success and prioritize features
• Be the voice of the customer through direct contact
• Clearly communicate to executives, teams and stakeholders
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for personas relevant to the product line

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Product Manager experience, with at least 2 years in Data Science / ML required
• Excellent Statistical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistics, A/B testing, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL)
• Knowledge of data pipelines, cloud platforms, and visualization tools
• Relevant agile software development experience
• Deep understanding of, and empathy for users
• Experienced in Project management software (Jira, Shortcut, etc)
• Ability to lead, inspire, project manage, drive and get things done in a startup environment
• Must have extremely strong interpersonal skills
• AWS, Azure, etc experience a plus
• Experience with building personalization, user-facing a plus
